Electric Neck Massager – EMS Muscle Stimulator for Neck & Shoulders

Price range: $25.99 through $27.99

An electric neck massager applies EMS pulses and heat to the trapezius and neck through a wearable collar. It is a lightweight rechargeable unit with several modes and intensity levels. Neck stiffness with dizziness, arm numbness or headache after an injury needs a clinician, not a stimulator.

The Muscles Your Hands Can’t Reach

You can massage your own shoulders. You cannot effectively massage the deep cervical muscles that run either side of the neck’s spine, because reaching them requires an angle your own arm doesn’t have. EMS bypasses the problem entirely: instead of pushing tissue from outside, it stimulates the muscle to contract and release from within, which increases blood flow and breaks the tension-pain loop.

Key Benefits

  • EMS stimulation reaches deep cervical muscle that manual massage cannot
  • Multiple modes — kneading, tapping and pulse patterns
  • Heat function to soften stiff tissue
  • Hands-free — works while you sit, read or commute
  • USB rechargeable
  • Adjustable intensity from very gentle upward

How to Use

Position on the back of the neck. Start at the lowest intensity — EMS feels strange before it feels good — and increase to firm but never painful. Fifteen minutes, up to twice daily. Do not use if you have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, during pregnancy, with epilepsy, or on the front of the neck. Consult a doctor if you have a heart condition.

Common questions

Who should not use a TENS or EMS device?
Anyone with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or other implanted electronic device, anyone who is pregnant, and anyone with epilepsy or a heart rhythm disorder should not use one without medical advice. Never place electrodes over the front of the neck, across the chest, on the head, or over broken skin.
What is the difference between TENS and EMS?
TENS uses low-level pulses aimed at interrupting pain signals. EMS uses stronger pulses that make the muscle contract. Many units do both, but they are different settings with different purposes.
How often do gel pads need replacing?
Most pads last twenty to thirty sessions before they stop sticking. Wash the skin first and put the protective film back on after each use. Pressing a dried-out pad harder does not restore contact.
