Percussive Therapy That Actually Reaches the Tissue You Can’t Stretch
A massage gun works by rapid mechanical percussion: the head strikes the muscle belly hundreds of times a minute, and that repeated pressure wave does two useful things. It floods the area with sensory input, which temporarily raises your pain threshold through the same gate-control mechanism that makes rubbing a bruise feel better. And it applies shear force to fascia and muscle tissue, increasing local blood flow and helping restore glide between layers that have stiffened up. The result is a short-term drop in perceived soreness and a measurable improvement in range of motion — not tissue repair, but a far more comfortable window in which to move.
Key Benefits
- Genuinely reduces DOMS. Percussive therapy has decent evidence for cutting delayed-onset muscle soreness and improving short-term flexibility, which is why it’s a staple in physio clinics rather than a gimmick.
- Four heads for four jobs. The ball head suits large muscle groups, the flat head handles broad flat areas like quads, the bullet head targets knots and trigger points, and the fork head straddles the spine and Achilles without hitting bone.
- LED display removes the guesswork. You can see the speed level and remaining battery instead of counting button presses and hoping.
- Cordless and one-handed. The 1200mAh lithium battery means you can reach your own calves, hamstrings and lats without an outlet or an assistant.
- Fast enough to actually happen. Sixty to ninety seconds per muscle group is enough to feel a difference — this fits into a real routine, unlike a foam-rolling session you keep skipping.
- Useful before training too. A brief pass on a target muscle pre-workout can improve range of motion without the strength loss that long static stretching can cause.
How to Use
Start on the lowest speed and let the weight of the gun do the work — pressing hard doesn’t make it more effective, it just makes it hurt. Glide slowly along the muscle at roughly 1-2 cm per second, spending 30-60 seconds per area and no more than two minutes on any one muscle. Stay on the muscle belly. Never use it directly on bone, joints, the spine itself, the front or sides of the neck, the kidneys, or over varicose veins, bruises, open wounds, or a fresh acute injury. If an area is sharply painful rather than pleasantly deep-tissue sore, stop. Anyone pregnant, on blood thinners, or living with a bleeding disorder, DVT, osteoporosis or an implanted device should clear this with a clinician first.

Care & Maintenance
Wipe the housing and heads with a lightly damp cloth after use — never submerge the unit or run it under a tap. Detach the heads periodically and clean them with mild soapy water, then dry fully before reattaching. Charge every couple of months if the gun sits unused; lithium cells degrade when stored flat. Store it in a dry place, out of direct sun, and don’t leave it plugged in permanently.
