What an EMS Belt Can and Cannot Do
Let’s be straight, because this category is full of nonsense. EMS causes muscle contraction, and repeated contraction under load can contribute modestly to muscular endurance and tone. What it cannot do is burn fat off your stomach or produce visible abs. Visible abs come from body fat percentage, which comes from diet. Anyone selling you a belt as a shortcut to a six-pack is lying. Used honestly — as a supplement to training, for muscle activation or on a rest day — it’s a reasonable tool.
Key Benefits
- EMS stimulation produces genuine muscle contraction
- Multiple modes and intensity levels
- Wearable and hands-free — works while you sit
- Pads for abdominals and arms
- Rechargeable
- Useful as a supplement to training and for muscle activation
How to Use
Apply pads to clean, dry skin over the muscle — never over the heart, the front of the neck, or the spine. Start at the lowest intensity. Twenty to thirty minutes per session. Do not use if you have a pacemaker or any implanted electronic device, if you are pregnant, if you have epilepsy or a heart condition, or over broken skin. This device does not reduce body fat and will not create visible abdominal definition on its own — that requires a calorie deficit and consistent training.
