4-in-1 Sandalwood Gua Sha Set – Face, Neck, Body & Scalp Comb
$18.99
A 4-in-1 sandalwood gua sha set covers face, neck, body and scalp with four shaped scraping tools. Each piece is turned sandalwood with contoured edges and notches, stored in a pouch. Wood is warmer against the skin than stone; use oil for face and body work and keep the scalp tool dry.
Common questions
- Do you need oil for gua sha?
- Yes for face and body work. The tool has to glide. Dragging a stone or steel edge across dry skin is what causes the redness and irritation people mistake for results.
- Which direction do you gua sha the face?
- Outward and upward from the centre of the face toward the hairline and jaw, following the lymphatic drainage direction, with light pressure and short repeated strokes.
- How do you clean a gua sha tool?
- Wash it with mild soap and warm water after each use and dry it fully. Do not put natural stone in boiling water or a dishwasher, which can crack it.
