Evaporative Cooling, Not Marketing Magic
This towel works on the same principle your body already uses: evaporative cooling. Water absorbs a large amount of energy to change from liquid to vapour — roughly 2,260 joules per gram. The hollow-core microfibre weave holds water across a huge surface area and releases it slowly, so as air moves over the fabric, that phase change drains heat from whatever it touches. Draped over the neck or wrists, where large blood vessels run close to the surface, it cools blood returning to your core. It does not refrigerate; it simply makes evaporation happen faster than your sweat can manage alone.
Key Benefits
- Cools for up to an hour per soak — the hollow-fibre structure retains water far longer than a cotton towel, which dumps its moisture in minutes.
- Targets the neck and wrists — placing it over superficial arteries cools blood on its way back to your core, which is why it feels disproportionately effective for its size.
- Stays damp without dripping — a proper wring leaves it cold and wet but not soggy, so it won’t soak your collar or your car seat.
- Zero power, zero chemicals — no batteries to charge, no gel packs to freeze, no cooling agents that irritate skin. Re-soak in any water source and it works again.
- Doubles as a sweat towel — microfibre is absorbent and quick-drying, so it handles gym bench wipe-downs and post-session face drying without going sour.
- Packs to nothing — folds smaller than a phone and weighs almost nothing, so it lives permanently in a gym bag, glovebox, or hiking pack.
How to Use
Soak the towel thoroughly in cool water — the colder the water, the colder the start, but even lukewarm water works once evaporation kicks in. Wring it out firmly until it stops dripping. Then snap or shake it hard several times: this is the step most people skip, and it’s what activates the cooling by forcing air through the fibres. Drape it across the back of the neck, over the shoulders, or wrap it around the wrists. Re-snap it whenever it starts to feel warm — usually every 15 to 30 minutes depending on humidity. It performs best in dry, moving air; in very humid conditions evaporation slows and so does the cooling. Do not use it as a substitute for hydration or for getting out of the heat: a cooling towel is comfort, not heatstroke treatment. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or stop sweating, stop exercising and seek shade and medical help.

Care & Maintenance
Rinse in clean water after each use to prevent mineral and sweat buildup. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach — softener coats the fibres and destroys the water-holding capacity that makes the towel work. Air dry only; do not tumble dry or iron. Store it fully dry in a ventilated pouch, never sealed damp in a bag, or it will develop mildew and smell.
