Both Ankles, Usually
Ankle stiffness is rarely one-sided. Whether it’s arthritis, age, or years of running on hard surfaces, both ankles tend to have been doing the same work for the same length of time — and treating one while the other stiffens is a half-measure. Heat increases blood flow to the joint and makes stiff connective tissue more pliable, which is why ankles move more freely after warmth. Three levels means you can find the setting that suits rather than accepting one.
Key Benefits
- Two braces — treat both ankles at once
- Three heat levels for real control
- Wraps and secures — hands-free
- Good for arthritis stiffness, chronic ache and cold joints
- Adjustable fit
- Auto shut-off
How to Use
Wrap around the ankle and secure. Start on the lowest heat setting — pleasantly warm, never hot enough to redden the skin. Fifteen to twenty minutes. Use heat for stiffness and chronic ache; do not use it within 48 hours of an acute sprain when the ankle is swollen — cold is correct then, and heat will worsen the swelling. Do not use on numb or broken skin, or while asleep. If you have diabetes or any neuropathy affecting the feet, speak to your doctor first — reduced sensation means you may not feel a burn developing.
