Feed Without Folding Your Spine in Half
A newborn feeds eight to twelve times a day, and each session can run twenty minutes or more. The injury does not come from the weight of the baby — it comes from the sustained forward head and rounded thoracic posture you hold while looking down. That position loads the cervical extensors and mid-back for hours a day. A nursing pillow only fixes this if it stays firm: soft pillows compress under the baby within minutes, dropping them away from you, and you chase them by leaning further forward. Springy, high-resilience memory foam holds its loft, and the lumbar panel keeps the lower back in its natural curve so the whole chain stays stacked.
Key Benefits
- Firm foam that does not sink. The support height you feel in minute one is roughly the height you get in minute twenty — which is the entire point, since a collapsing pillow is what makes you hunch.
- Lumbar support, not just a lap ring. The back panel maintains lumbar lordosis while you sit, so the posture correction starts at the pelvis rather than the shoulders.
- Arm rests take the static load. Holding a 4kg baby with unsupported arms is an isometric hold. Resting the forearms removes the shoulder and biceps fatigue that builds over a day.
- Safety guard edge. A raised lip on the outer edge reduces the chance of a squirming baby rolling off the pillow’s surface.
- Works for bottle feeding too. The mechanism is identical — bring the baby to you, not you to the baby — so partners get the same benefit.
- Doubles for supervised tummy time. A gentle incline under the chest gives a newborn a better angle to lift the head against gravity.
How to Use
Sit right back in the chair so your spine is supported before the pillow goes on. Fasten the pillow around your waist so the top surface sits level with, or slightly above, your natural breast height — if you are still looking down and forward, it is too low, so add a folded towel underneath rather than leaning in. Bring the baby to the pillow; never lower yourself to the baby. Rest your forearms on the arm supports and let your shoulders drop. Safety: a nursing pillow is not a sleep surface. Never leave a baby unattended on it, never let a baby sleep on or against it, and remove it from the cot and bed entirely. Always keep the baby within sight and reach while it is in use.

Care & Maintenance
Remove and wash the cover according to the label; check whether your variant’s cover is machine washable before washing. Do not machine wash or soak the memory-foam core — spot clean it with a barely damp cloth and mild detergent, then air dry it fully and flat before refitting the cover. Memory foam holds moisture, and a damp core will mildew from the inside out. Keep it out of direct sun, which yellows and hardens the foam.
