Carry Your Phone Without Wrecking Your Running Form
Running is a symmetrical, rhythmic act, and a phone clutched in one hand breaks that symmetry. Your arms counter-rotate against your legs to cancel out the torque your stride generates; hold a 200g slab in one of them and that counter-rotation becomes lopsided, subtly twisting the trunk with every step over thousands of steps. An armband fixes the mass close to the upper arm’s own axis of rotation, where its moment of inertia is tiny. The phone effectively travels with the limb rather than swinging against it, and your hand goes back to being a relaxed, unclenched hand.
Key Benefits
- Keeps your arm swing symmetrical. The load sits high on the upper arm, close to the shoulder joint, so it adds almost nothing to the rotational inertia of your swing — unlike a hand-carried phone or a pocket that thumps against your hip.
- Stops pocket bounce. A phone in a shorts pocket oscillates against the hip flexor on every stride and slowly works its way loose. Strapped down, it simply stops moving.
- Touchscreen-friendly window. Skip a track, pause a run-tracker or answer a call without unstrapping — the clear cover passes touch input through.
- Water-resistant, not waterproof. The shell and cover shrug off sweat, drizzle and a splash from a water bottle. That is what it is designed for, and we will not claim more (see below).
- Fits both large and small phones. The pouch accommodates typical iPhone and Samsung form factors, and the strap adjusts across S to XL arm circumferences.
- Works for more than running. Cycling, gym cardio, hiking, dog walking and any activity where a pocket is either absent or a liability.
How to Use
Wear it on your non-dominant arm, positioned on the outside of the upper arm just above the elbow — high enough that it does not slide down over the elbow joint, low enough that it does not dig into the deltoid. Tighten until it is snug, then check you can slide two fingers under the band; if you cannot, it is too tight. Do a 30-second jog on the spot before you set off: if it creeps or rotates, tighten one notch and re-test. Safety: do not over-tighten — sustained compression on the upper arm can restrict circulation and irritate the ulnar and radial nerves, and the warning signs are tingling, numbness or a cold hand, so loosen it immediately if you feel any of those. This is a water-resistant band, not a waterproof case: do not swim with it, do not submerge it, and do not rely on it in sustained heavy rain. And if you are running on roads, keep the volume low or leave one ear free — being unable to hear traffic is a far bigger risk than a wet phone.

Care & Maintenance
Remove the phone before cleaning. Hand wash in cool water with a little mild detergent, rinse and air dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron or dry-clean — heat destroys the elastic in the strap and can cloud the touch window. If sweat has left a salt crust on the strap, a rinse in plain water is enough; salt left in the fabric will shorten its life.
