Yoga Kneeling Pad – High-Density Knee Cushion for Yoga & Floor Work

$17.99

A yoga kneeling pad cushions the knees, wrists and elbows during floor work. It is high-density foam with a non-slip surface, thicker and smaller than a full yoga mat. Place it on top of your mat for kneeling poses rather than using it alone, since it is too small for standing sequences.

For the Poses Your Mat Doesn’t Cushion

Standard yoga mats are 4 to 6mm thick, which is right for grip and stability and wrong for kneeling. Low lunge, camel, tabletop, any long-held kneeling pose — they all put your bodyweight through a joint with very little tissue between bone and floor. A kneeling pad adds targeted thickness exactly where you need it, without making your whole mat squishy and unstable.

Key Benefits

  • High-density foam that cushions without bottoming out under bodyweight
  • Protects knees, wrists, elbows and hips during kneeling and floor poses
  • Non-slip surface stays put on a mat or hard floor
  • Layer on top of your existing mat — no need to replace it
  • Light and easy to carry to a studio
  • Also useful for gardening, DIY and home workouts

How to Use

Place the pad on top of your mat wherever the contact point will be. For low lunges, position it under the rear knee. For tabletop and cat-cow, slide it under both knees. Wipe it down after sweaty sessions.

Common questions

What thickness yoga mat should I choose?
Four to six millimetres is the usual compromise: stable enough for standing balance, padded enough for most floor work. Eight millimetres and above is kinder to the knees but noticeably less stable in balance poses.
How do I stop a yoga mat from slipping?
New mats often have a manufacturing film on them. Wash it with mild soap and water, let it dry fully, and use it a few times. Cork and natural rubber grip better as your hands get damp; PVC grips better when dry.
How do you clean a yoga mat?
Wipe it with diluted mild soap or a vinegar and water solution, then air dry flat or hanging. Do not put it in a washing machine or leave it in direct sun, which degrades the surface.
