The Strap Shouldn’t Stretch
It sounds backwards to want a stretching strap that doesn’t stretch, but consider what’s happening in a static hold. Your muscle has a protective reflex that resists lengthening. It only switches off if the position is stable and unchanging for long enough. An elastic strap keeps applying a subtle variable pull, which keeps that reflex gently engaged. Non-elastic webbing holds you perfectly still — and stillness is what lets the muscle finally release.
Key Benefits
- Zero stretch — a stable, unchanging hold that lets the protective reflex switch off
- The physiotherapy standard for static stretching
- Won’t lose tension over years of use
- Secure grip under load
- Full-body: hamstrings, hips, quads, shoulders
- Lightweight and durable
How to Use
Loop the foot or hand and take up tension to a firm, comfortable stretch — never pain. Then simply hold, and let the strap do the holding. Thirty to sixty seconds, breathing steadily; the release comes in the second half. Never bounce — bouncing triggers the very reflex you’re trying to switch off. Stretch when warm.
