Elastic Moves With You
A rigid strap holds you at one depth. An elastic one gives slightly as tissue relaxes, which means the stretch continues to follow you deeper through a 60-second hold rather than stopping at the position you started in. That matters, because most of a stretch’s benefit arrives in the second half of the hold, once the muscle’s protective reflex settles and it finally lets go.
Key Benefits
- Elastic give lets the stretch deepen as the muscle relaxes
- Two straps — stretch both sides at once, or share
- Adjustable loops for hands and feet
- Suits yoga, dance, gymnastics and general flexibility
- Gentle on joints — no hard end-stop
- Lightweight and packable
How to Use
Loop the strap around the foot or hand and take up tension until you feel a firm, comfortable stretch. Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and keep breathing — most of the release happens in the second half of the hold. Never bounce. Stretch when warm; after training is more effective and safer than before.
