Please Read the Safety Section
This is a genuinely good tool for a child learning gymnastics: a low, floor-level beam lets them build balance and confidence with a fall distance measured in centimetres rather than a metre. It folds away, which is what makes it practical in a house. But it is equipment a child stands on, and children fall — so the safety guidance below is not boilerplate, and we’d ask you to read it properly.
Key Benefits
- Low floor-level height — a fall is centimetres, not a drop
- Folds away for storage between sessions
- Non-slip suede surface for secure footing
- 2.38m length for genuine walking and turning practice
- Builds balance, proprioception and confidence
- Non-slip base to stop the beam sliding
How to Use
Adult supervision at all times. Set up on a soft surface — carpet, or ideally gymnastics mats — never on tile, concrete or a hard floor. Keep a clear space of at least a metre on every side, away from furniture, corners and radiators. Check that the folding mechanism is fully locked before every use. Start with walking; skills like turns and jumps should be learned in a coached setting, not improvised at home. Bare feet or gym shoes only, never socks.
