Sixty Kilos Is a Real Number
Most ‘adjustable’ grippers span a range you’d outgrow in a month. Five to sixty kilos is a genuinely serious span: the bottom end suits rehabilitation and beginners, the top end will challenge experienced climbers and strongman competitors. Grip is the limiting factor in more lifts than people admit — most deadlifts fail at the hands long before the back or legs are done — and it’s trainable.
Key Benefits
- 5kg to 60kg range — genuinely spans beginner to advanced
- Precise adjustment so you can add load in small increments
- R-shape design with a stable, ergonomic hand position
- Removes grip as your limiting factor on deadlifts and pulls
- Durable construction for heavy loading
- Non-slip handles
How to Use
Set a resistance you can close for 8 to 12 controlled reps. Close deliberately, and control the opening — do not let it snap back. Three sets, two or three times a week; grip recovers slowly and is easy to overtrain. Balance with hand-extension work (opening the hand against a band) to avoid a flexor-dominant forearm, which is a common route into tennis elbow. Stop immediately on any sharp elbow, wrist or finger pain. Keep fingers clear of the mechanism when adjusting.
