Stop Rounding Your Back to Reach Your Toes
Here’s the mistake almost everyone makes with hamstring stretches: they can’t reach their foot, so they round the lower back to get there. The lumbar spine flexes, the hamstring barely lengthens, and they’ve spent six months stretching their back instead of their leg. A strap simply extends your arms. You hook the foot, keep the spine long, and the stretch finally goes where it’s meant to.
Key Benefits
- Extends your reach so you can stretch with a neutral spine
- Puts the stretch in the hamstring, not the lower back
- Works for hips, quads, shoulders and calves too
- Lets you control depth precisely — you pull, so you decide
- Ideal for beginners and anyone with limited flexibility
- Packs flat
How to Use
Lie on your back, loop the strap around the arch of one foot, and raise the leg while keeping the other leg flat and the lower back on the floor. Pull only until you feel a firm stretch — never pain. Hold 30 to 60 seconds and breathe. Never bounce; bouncing triggers a reflexive contraction and works against you. Repeat both sides.
