Cool Stone, Warm Face
Gua sha is a scraping technique, and the material matters mainly because of temperature: stone stays cool against skin, and cool is what reduces the puffiness people are usually chasing. Rose quartz holds that coolness longer than plastic or metal. The heart shape is not decoration — the notch is sized to straddle the jawline, and the curve follows the cheekbone.
Key Benefits
- Natural rose quartz that stays cool against the skin
- Heart shape — the notch straddles the jawline, the curve follows the cheekbone
- Used for facial de-puffing and lymphatic drainage
- Relieves jaw tension from clenching and grinding
- Smooth polished edges
- Pocket-sized
How to Use
Always apply a facial oil or serum first — gua sha on dry skin drags and can damage it. Hold the stone almost flat to the face, at roughly a 15-degree angle, and stroke outward and upward: jaw to ear, cheek to temple, brow to hairline. Light pressure, 3 to 5 passes per line. You are not trying to leave marks on the face. Keep it in the fridge for extra de-puffing. Avoid active acne, broken skin or sunburn.
