Wooden Massage Roller – 9-Wheel Meridian Therapy Muscle Roller

$17.99

A wooden massage roller uses nine turned wheels to work along the back, legs and arms. It is solid hardwood on a fixed frame with a hand grip, needing no power. Wood does not compress, so it delivers firmer pressure than foam — start light, especially on the calves and IT band.

No Batteries, No Excuses

There’s a reason wooden massage tools have outlived a hundred generations of gadgets: they work, they never run out of battery, and they’ll still function in twenty years. Nine independently-rotating wheels distribute pressure across a broad contact area, which makes them well suited to large surfaces — the front and back of the thigh, the calves, the length of the back — where a single ball is too pinpoint.

Key Benefits

  • Nine rotating wheels spread pressure across large muscle groups
  • Solid wood construction — nothing to charge, nothing to break
  • Long handle gives leverage and reach to your own back
  • Used for cellulite massage and lymphatic work on thighs and glutes
  • Firm pressure that beats a foam roller for the front of the thigh
  • Silent

How to Use

Roll slowly along the muscle, applying steady pressure — always in the direction of the heart on the limbs. Thirty to sixty seconds per area. For the thighs and glutes, use an oil to reduce skin drag. Firm pressure is fine on large muscles; do not roll directly over bone, joints, varicose veins or broken skin.

Common questions

How long should you foam roll each muscle?
Thirty to sixty seconds per area, moving slowly and pausing where it is tight. Fast passes travel over the tissue without giving it time to release.
Should a foam roller hurt?
It should feel like firm pressure, not sharp pain. If you are wincing or holding your breath, move to a softer roller or take some body weight off by supporting yourself with your hands.
What size foam roller should I buy?
A 30 cm roller suits calves, quads and travel. A 90 cm roller is what you need to roll along the spine, because it supports both shoulder blades at once. Textured and hollow-core rollers are firmer than smooth solid foam.
