Yoga Blocks, Straps & Wheels

Yoga props do one job: they bring the pose to a body that cannot yet reach it, so you hold correct alignment instead of compensating. A block raises the floor, a strap lengthens your arm, a wheel supports a backbend you could not otherwise hold.

This collection holds 18 blocks, straps, wheels and prop sets.

What to buy first

  • Two blocks — always two, not one. Foam is light and forgiving; cork is firmer, heavier and better if you stand on them.
  • One 6ft strap — with a D-ring or quick-release buckle. 8ft if you are over 6ft tall.
  • A wheel, later — 12in for general backbends, 10in for a sharper stretch through the upper back.

Frequently asked questions

Cork or foam yoga blocks?

Foam for comfort under the head, hips and hands in restorative work. Cork for stability when you put weight through the block or stand on it.

What length yoga strap do I need?

6ft covers most adults for hamstring, shoulder and hip work. Choose 8ft if you are tall or want to use it for looped bindings.

Are yoga wheels safe for your back?

Used with control, they support the upper body through an extension you already have some range for. Move slowly, keep the neck supported, and stop if you feel pinching rather than stretch. Avoid them if you have a diagnosed spinal condition unless a clinician has cleared it.
