Read the Anchoring Section
This is a genuinely useful tool for aerial work, deep backbends and supported inversions — and it is also the only product on this site that will drop you on your head if you install it badly. Aerial equipment takes dynamic load: your bodyweight plus the force of movement, which can be several times your static weight. Please read the safety guidance below properly before you use it.
Key Benefits
- Supports inversions and deep backbends that are hard to reach unassisted
- Adjustable length for different heights and poses
- Decompresses the spine in supported hanging positions
- Assists flexibility work — shoulders, hips, spine
- Strong webbing construction
- Packs down small
How to Use
Anchoring is critical. Attach only to a structural ceiling joist or a properly rated, professionally installed mount — never to plasterboard, a light fitting, a curtain rail or a standard door frame. Aerial equipment must handle dynamic load, not just your bodyweight. Test the anchor with your full weight while standing, before ever inverting. Inspect the strap and hardware for wear before every single use. Use a crash mat underneath. Learn inversions with a qualified instructor first — do not learn them alone from the internet. Do not use if you have glaucoma, high blood pressure, retinal problems, heart conditions, a spinal injury, or are pregnant.
