Natural Gua Sha Massage Comb – Head, Face & Scalp Massager

$16.99

A gua sha massage comb is a wide-toothed tool used on the scalp, face and neck for tension release. It is natural stone or resin with rounded teeth on one edge and a scraping edge on the other. Use light pressure on the scalp and pair it with oil for face work.

Work the Scalp, Not the Headache

Tension headaches don’t originate in your head. They originate in the muscles across the scalp, the temples and the ridge at the base of the skull — tissue that tightens from clenching, screen work and stress, and that almost nobody ever massages. A comb gives you the leverage to apply real pressure there; fingertips tire long before the muscle lets go.

Key Benefits

  • Comb teeth apply pressure across the scalp that fingertips cannot sustain
  • Gua sha edge for the face, jaw and neck
  • Stimulates scalp circulation
  • Used for tension headaches and jaw clenching
  • Natural material, smooth polished finish
  • No batteries, nothing to charge

How to Use

Draw the teeth slowly from the hairline back toward the crown, and from the base of the skull upward — around ten passes per line, firm enough to feel but never painful. For the face, apply an oil first and use the smooth edge, stroking outward and upward with light pressure. Never use gua sha on dry skin, and never press hard enough to bruise the face.

Common questions

Do you need oil for gua sha?
Yes for face and body work. The tool has to glide. Dragging a stone or steel edge across dry skin is what causes the redness and irritation people mistake for results.
Which direction do you gua sha the face?
Outward and upward from the centre of the face toward the hairline and jaw, following the lymphatic drainage direction, with light pressure and short repeated strokes.
How do you clean a gua sha tool?
Wash it with mild soap and warm water after each use and dry it fully. Do not put natural stone in boiling water or a dishwasher, which can crack it.
