Pedal Resistance Band with Handles – Seated Row & Leg Trainer

$16.99

A pedal resistance band with handles is a seated exercise cord anchored under the feet for rowing and leg work. It has an adjustable elastic cord between padded handles and a wide foot pedal. It suits rehab, seniors and desk breaks; the resistance is light enough that strength trainers will outgrow it quickly.

A Rowing Motion Without a Rowing Machine

The seated row is one of the best things you can do for a body that spends its day hunched over a screen: it trains the mid-back and rear delts, the exact muscles that hold your shoulders back. Machines that do it cost hundreds and take up a room. A pedal band gives you the same movement pattern — your own feet are the anchor — for the price of lunch and the storage space of a paperback.

Key Benefits

  • Foot plate anchor — no door, no post, nothing to pull free
  • Cushioned handles so your grip isn’t the limiting factor
  • Trains the mid-back and rear delts — the antidote to desk posture
  • Also works arms, shoulders and abs
  • Works on any floor, anywhere
  • Packs completely flat

How to Use

Sit with legs extended, feet braced against the foot plate. Sit tall — do not round your lower back. Row by driving the elbows back and squeezing the shoulder blades together, then control the return. That squeeze is where the benefit is; yanking with the arms wastes the exercise. Two to three sets of 12 to 15 reps. Inspect tubes for nicks before each use.

Common questions

How much weight do resistance bands equal?
Band resistance rises as you stretch it, so the stated pound rating is a peak figure rather than a constant load. A stacked tube set typically covers roughly 10 to 150 lb depending on how many tubes you attach.
How do I anchor a resistance band safely?
Use the supplied door anchor on a door that opens away from you, and test it with a slow pull before loading it. Never anchor to a door handle, a radiator, or anything that could come loose under tension.
When should I replace a resistance band?
As soon as you see nicks, tackiness, colour fading or surface cracking, especially where the tube meets the clip. A band that fails under tension snaps back hard.
