Pull-Up Assist Band – Adjustable Resistance Band for Home Training
Price range: $25.99 through $28.99
An adjustable pull-up assist band takes weight off the bottom of a pull-up so you can train the full range. It is a heavy-duty latex loop with an adjustable length setting. Loop the band under one foot rather than both knees when you want finer control of the assistance.
Common questions
- How much weight do resistance bands equal?
- Band resistance rises as you stretch it, so the stated pound rating is a peak figure rather than a constant load. A stacked tube set typically covers roughly 10 to 150 lb depending on how many tubes you attach.
- How do I anchor a resistance band safely?
- Use the supplied door anchor on a door that opens away from you, and test it with a slow pull before loading it. Never anchor to a door handle, a radiator, or anything that could come loose under tension.
- When should I replace a resistance band?
- As soon as you see nicks, tackiness, colour fading or surface cracking, especially where the tube meets the clip. A band that fails under tension snaps back hard.
