The Bands That Actually Wake Up Your Glutes
Squats and deadlifts load the glutes, but they don’t necessarily recruit them — plenty of people lift heavy and still fire quads and lower back instead. Loop bands solve that. Two minutes of banded lateral walks or clamshells before you train switches the glute medius on, which changes how the big lifts feel and protects the knees. Five levels means you can keep progressing rather than outgrowing the set.
Key Benefits
- Five tension levels — extra-light through extra-heavy, so the set grows with you
- Glute activation before squats, running or any lower-body session
- Lateral resistance that free weights simply can’t provide
- Widely used in knee and hip rehab protocols
- Natural latex, high elastic recovery, resistant to rolling
- Fits in a pocket
How to Use
For glute activation, place the band just above the knees and perform 15 lateral steps each direction, or 15 clamshells per side, before training. For lower-body strength, use a heavier band and add to squats or hip thrusts. Check bands for nicks before each use and retire any that are damaged.
