Take the Load Off the Tendon
Pain just below the kneecap during running, jumping or stairs is usually the patellar tendon complaining about how much load is landing on one small area. A tendon strap changes the mechanics: sitting across the tendon below the kneecap, it spreads that force over a wider region and reduces peak stress at the painful point. Most people notice the difference within the first few minutes of a run.
Key Benefits
- Targeted tendon compression just below the kneecap
- Spreads peak load away from the painful focal point
- Adjustable closure for exact pressure control
- Low-profile black design — invisible under kit
- Fits either knee
- Used for runner’s knee, jumper’s knee and Osgood-Schlatter
How to Use
Sit the strap on the tendon just below the kneecap — never over the kneecap itself. Tighten until firm; full knee bend should still be comfortable. Wear during activity, remove after. This manages symptoms. If pain persists more than a few weeks, see a physiotherapist — tendons rehabilitate through progressive loading, not through straps.
