Elastic Hand & Wrist Bandage – Cotton Sports Wrist Wrap

Price range: $15.99 through $23.99

An elastic hand and wrist bandage wraps the wrist and palm for support during boxing, gym work and manual tasks. It is woven cotton-elastic with a thumb loop and hook-and-loop closure, sold as a pair. Wrap over the knuckles and around the wrist in a figure-eight — a wrap that only circles the wrist leaves the hand unprotected.

Tension You Control

A wrist sleeve gives you one level of support. A wrap gives you all of them. Wound loosely it’s a light support for everyday use; wound tight in a figure-of-eight it’s a genuine brace that will hold a wrist through a heavy bench press or a bag session. Cotton breathes better than neoprene, which matters when it’s wrapped against skin for an hour.

Key Benefits

  • Fully adjustable tension — light support or hard bracing, your call
  • Breathable cotton blend rather than sweaty neoprene
  • Figure-of-eight wrap gives real stability for pressing and striking
  • Used for weight training, boxing and general wrist support
  • Secure closure that holds through movement
  • Washable and reusable

How to Use

Anchor at the wrist, then wrap in overlapping turns, crossing the back of the hand in a figure-of-eight for maximum support. Firm, not tight — you should never feel tingling or see colour change in the fingers. Unwrap between sets if wrapped tightly. Do not sleep in it.

Common questions

Wrist wraps or lifting straps - which do I need?
Wraps stiffen and support the wrist joint for pressing and overhead work. Straps loop around the bar to remove grip as the limiting factor on heavy pulls. They solve different problems and are not interchangeable.
How tight should a lifting belt be?
Snug enough that you can brace your abdominal wall out against it, but loose enough to take a full breath into your belly first. A belt you cannot breathe into is too tight to do its job.
Should I train in wraps and straps all the time?
No. Cinch wraps for your working sets and loosen them between. Use straps only on top-end pulls. Training everything supported stops your grip and wrist stabilisers developing.
