Knee Compression Sleeve – Elastic Support Brace for Basketball & Sport

$24.99

A knee compression sleeve gives elastic support for running, lifting and daily activity. It is graduated-compression knit with silicone grip bands and a patella opening. Measure just above the kneecap for sizing; a sleeve supports and warms but will not stabilise a ligament injury.

Compression Improves Position Sense, Not Just Support

This is an elastic knee compression sleeve at $24.99, made from 60% nylon, 32% latex and 8% spandex in a three-dimensional knit, available in sizes S through XXXL and four colors. A sleeve does something less obvious than holding the knee together: the constant pressure on the skin feeds your nervous system information about where the joint is in space. That is proprioception, and improving it is a large part of why players who wear sleeves report feeling more stable on landings and cuts.

Key Benefits

  • Three-dimensional knit. Shaped compression that follows the joint rather than a flat tube that bunches behind the knee.
  • Proprioceptive feedback. Constant skin pressure sharpens your sense of where the knee is – which is why sleeves feel stabilizing beyond the support they give.
  • Sizes S–XXXL. Fit is the whole game with compression; a sleeve that is too big does nothing.
  • Breathable stretch. Nylon, latex and spandex – holds shape and lets heat out.
  • Basketball, running, gym, court sports. Anywhere with cutting, jumping and landing.

How to Use

  • Measure your knee circumference and follow the size chart. Sizing up because it feels tight defeats the point.
  • Pull the sleeve up so the thickest part sits centered over the kneecap.
  • Wear it during activity. There is no benefit to sleeping in one, and prolonged constant compression is not the goal.
  • Wash out sweat regularly – salt breaks down elastic fibres faster than use does.
  • A sleeve is support, not a fix. Persistent knee pain, swelling or instability needs a clinician, not more compression.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a knee sleeve actually help?

It provides mild support and, more importantly, improves proprioception – your sense of where the joint is in space. That is why athletes report feeling steadier on landings and cuts. It does not repair a damaged knee.

How tight should it be?

Snug and even, with no pinching, no numbness and no bunching behind the knee. If it slides down during activity it is too big; if it leaves deep marks or makes your calf tingle, it is too small.

Can I wear it all day?

It is designed for activity. There is no benefit to wearing compression around the clock, and no reason to sleep in it.

Will it fix my knee pain?

No. It supports and it improves joint awareness, which often makes activity more comfortable. Persistent pain, swelling or the knee giving way needs a proper diagnosis – a sleeve masking those symptoms is not a good outcome.

Which size do I need?

Measure the circumference of your knee and match it to the size chart. Fit determines whether compression works at all, so this is not the place to guess.

Common questions

Where should a patella strap sit?
About an inch below the kneecap, over the patellar tendon. Worn on the kneecap itself it does nothing, which is the single most common mistake with these straps.
Should I choose a sleeve or a hinged brace?
A compression sleeve gives warmth, swelling control and proprioceptive feedback. A hinged or spring-stabilised brace resists sideways movement. If your knee feels unstable or gives way, that needs assessment, not just a sleeve.
How do I size a knee sleeve?
Measure the circumference just above the kneecap with the leg straight. A sleeve that rolls down is too large; one that leaves deep marks or makes the lower leg tingle is too small.
