4-Tube Resistance Band with Handles & Foot Pedal – Home Fitness Pull Rope

$12.99

A four-tube resistance pull rope with handles and a foot pedal, anchoring the band under your foot for rows, presses, curls and shoulder work. The pedal is what makes it a standalone kit — you get a fixed anchor point without a door or a rack. Check the tubes for nicks or cloudy patches before each session and replace any that show wear.

A Whole Resistance Session That Fits in a Drawer

Elastic resistance has a property free weights do not: the load rises as the band stretches. That means resistance is lowest where your joint is at its weakest, most stretched position and highest where you have the most leverage — a force curve that is gentle on end-range joint positions and demanding through the strong middle. It is why elastic tubing is a staple of shoulder and rotator-cuff rehabilitation. The foot pedal anchors the system to your body weight, so you can pull vertically and horizontally without a door anchor, a rack, or anything screwed into a wall.

Key Benefits

  • Resistance rises through the range. The tubing is easiest where your joints are most vulnerable and hardest where they are strongest — the opposite of a dumbbell, and gentler on stretched-out end positions.
  • Four tubes means real load. A four-tube configuration stacks enough tension for rows, presses and squats, not just physio-level rehab work.
  • The foot pedal is the anchor. Standing on the pedal turns your own bodyweight into the base, so you can train seated rows, bicep curls, overhead presses and deadlift patterns with no fixtures at all.
  • Travels anywhere. It weighs a few hundred grams and packs into a hotel drawer, which is why it is the only piece of gear most people actually use while away.
  • Kind on the joints. No impact, no eccentric slam at the bottom of a rep — useful for older trainees and anyone easing back after a layoff.
  • Full body, honestly. Arms, shoulders, back, chest, glutes, core. It is not a substitute for a barbell if you want to get very strong, but it is a complete and legitimate resistance session.

How to Use

Stand on the foot pedal with the tubing centred under the arch of your foot — not the toe, where it can slip off mid-rep. Take up the slack before the first repetition so there is tension at the start; a band that only becomes tight halfway through the movement trains almost nothing. Move slowly, and control the return: the eccentric, letting the band shorten under tension, is where much of the strength adaptation actually happens. Widen your stance to increase tension, narrow it to decrease. Inspect the tubing before every single session — run it through your fingers looking for nicks, small tears, chalky patches or cracking near the handle attachments, and bin the band at the first sign of any of these. A tube that snaps under load recoils fast. Never stretch a band toward your face or another person’s face, never anchor it to anything that can come loose, and do not train with it in direct sun or extreme heat, which degrades latex.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe the tubing down after use — sweat and body oils accelerate the breakdown of elastic. Store it coiled loosely, out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources and never permanently stretched, since a band left under tension takes a set and loses its snap. Keep it away from grit and rough concrete, which put micro-nicks in the surface that later become failure points. Do not attempt to repair a damaged tube — replace it.

Common questions

How much weight do resistance bands equal?
Band resistance rises as you stretch it, so the stated pound rating is a peak figure rather than a constant load. A stacked tube set typically covers roughly 10 to 150 lb depending on how many tubes you attach.
How do I anchor a resistance band safely?
Use the supplied door anchor on a door that opens away from you, and test it with a slow pull before loading it. Never anchor to a door handle, a radiator, or anything that could come loose under tension.
When should I replace a resistance band?
As soon as you see nicks, tackiness, colour fading or surface cracking, especially where the tube meets the clip. A band that fails under tension snaps back hard.
