Ankle & Foot Support

An ankle support works by limiting the inward roll that causes most sprains while leaving the up-and-down movement you need to walk and run. Compression sleeves add warmth and joint awareness; strapped and lace-up braces add real mechanical restriction.

This collection holds 40 ankle and foot supports, including low-profile sleeves that fit inside a trainer.

Choosing an ankle support

  • Elastic compression sleeve — everyday aches, swelling, mild support. Fits in shoes.
  • Figure-8 strapped brace — adjustable, mimics ankle taping, good after a mild sprain.
  • Lace-up brace — the firmest non-rigid option, for repeated sprains or return to sport.
  • Plantar fascia sleeve — arch-specific compression for heel pain, often worn overnight or in the morning.

Frequently asked questions

How do I size an ankle brace?

Measure around the arch and heel in a figure-8, and around the narrowest point above the ankle bone. Shoe size alone is not reliable.

Will an ankle brace fit inside my shoes?

Thin compression sleeves and most figure-8 straps do. Lace-up braces need a shoe with a roomy toe box and often a half-size up. The product page states the thickness.

How long after a sprain should I wear a brace?

Commonly for the first few weeks of return to activity, then gradually less as strength and balance come back. Long-term bracing without rehab tends to leave the ankle weaker.
